A low over northern Quebec is pushing a warm southwest flow right across the province, and that’s the story for the next couple of days. Labrador is already mild this morning, with temperatures into the teens at this early hour; it’s also breezy, and some rain showers are near Lab West.

On the Island it’s cooler and cloudier to start, with temperatures in the single digits to near 10ºC. We are seeing some pockets of fog this morning. Feel free to have a look at the road cams and live cams to see if you can spot any in your area. The view from The Post Taphouse webcam in Torbay certainly shows the fog.

For most of the Island today, it’s a mostly dry, mild, breezy day. The fog lifts, Central and the West get some sun, and the wind picks up out of the southwest, gusting 40 in a lot of spots and up to 60 in the most exposed areas. Clouds thicken tonight with a chance of drizzle or showers on the West Coast and South Coast. Labrador gets showers and rain today, with steadier rain on Friday before a much cooler change.
