Now, this morning there will be some lingering cloud cover here and there, especially in the east. In the east, that cloud will be slow to clear out, but it should do so by mid to late morning. Some areas are also seeing a bit of fog, especially in the south where it’s quite dense, like in Trepassey, and some of the roads in the region are wet. The fog will be slow to clear over southern areas today.

Temperatures will peak today in the upper teens to the mid and upper twenties. And while it won’t feel quite as muggy as yesterday, it will still be a little muggy, with humidex values getting into the upper twenties to the low thirties. There may also be a few pop-up showers inland from the south coast, and over interior Newfoundland late this afternoon.

  1. Thank you for the info, sir.
Your ‘today’s forecast’ graphics show the island twice instead of the island and Labrador.
